Halloween 2014...25 years after their breakup, 3 original members of Voice of Doom reunite with a new singer and a new drummer to record 5 new songs and combine it with a remastered version of their 1987 EP and title the whole thing VOD III. 

Shortly after recording, the original bassist decides obscurity is a better suited activity for him, and the new drummer drives to his death in northern California. So what happens next? Well, the remaining 3 recruit a familiar but new rhythm section and continue...the result is the upcoming 4 song EP titled "Scared to Death" recorded once again with Kevin Lacatena at Homebrew Studio and available through PVR soon. To quote a passerby of the studio during the sessions, the anonymous citizen said "I thought it sounded like someone getting put into a meat grinder in there. I couldn't get too close though because I saw a foggy green glow in the sky and headed back home for safety." 

Halloween 2015...as a teaser to their upcoming release, remaining members Evil Heim, John Steele and Frankie Fender, joined with Joe Pugsley and Ryan Struck on bass and drums, respectively, give you a Halloween treat with two classic Misfits cuts available only online to chew on along with Bit-O-Honeys and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups this Halloween weekend a few weeks before the new four original track EP is released.
